Sony finally reveals US pricing for Bravia Theater Bar 6 and Bravia Theater System 6 soundbars (2025)

Sony has finally put US price tags on its latest home audio offerings, the Bravia Theater Bar 6 and Bravia Theater System 6. While you still can’t add them to your cart just yet, potential buyers now know how much they'll need to pay to get their hands on these new soundbar systems, with both of them currently listed as “coming soon”.

The Bravia Theater System 6 (HT-B600) is the more premium of the duo, and it will retail for $770. This 5.1-channel package includes a main soundbar measuring 907 x 64 x 90 mm that houses three front-firing drivers, a pair of rear speakers (106 x 216 x 98 mm each)connected via a wireless box, and a separate wireless subwoofer (275 x 388 x 388mm). Interestingly, despite supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content decoding, it skips dedicated up-firing drivers. Instead, Sony relies on its "Vertical Surround Engine" processing to create virtual height effects and "S-Force Pro Front Surround" to widen the soundstage virtually. For owners of compatible 2025 Bravia TVs, it also supports Voice Zoom 3, an AI-powered feature that recognizes human voices and tries to boosts dialogue clarity in various scenes for better comprehension.

Stepping down slightly in price and configuration is the Bravia Theater Bar 6 (HT-S60) at $649. This model opts for a 3.1.2-channel arrangement featuring a slightly wider main soundbar (950 x 64 x 110 mm) and a more compact wireless sub (210 x 388 x 388 mm). While it loses the dedicated rear speakers of its sibling, it gains two up-firing drivers built into the main soundbar, aiming for more authentic reproduction of Atmos and DTS:X content by bouncing sound off the ceiling and walls. It still includes a dedicated center channel and a wireless subwoofer for low-end punch.

Connectivity options are identical across both models, offering essentials like HDMI eARC and an Optical audio input, alongside Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming. Both systems also share similar underlying audio enhancement technologies, integrate with the Bravia Connect app for control and include Sony’s DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) audio upscaling technology.

Both the Bravia Theater System 6 and Bar 6 are currently marked as "coming soon" on Sony's official website and Best Buy. No firm release date has been announced, but with pricing now public, expect them to hit shelves shortly unless the tariff war escalates.
